Randy Green is past associate editor of Texas Highways Magazine, one of the United States’ largest-circulated regional travel magazines and he contributed regular features and photos to the publication as well. In addition, his photos have appeared in Audubon, Outdoor Photographer, Outdoor and Travel Photography, Texas Monthly, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Sail, Time, and UPI, plus numerous books, calendars and other markets.
His stock photography is represented by Getty Images, AGPix, Alamy and Photoshelter. He also produced and directed documentary films shown on networks such as PBS and BBC. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin in both zoology and psychology, specializing in ethology, or the study of comparative animal behavior. He additionally studied at Southern Methodist University, in film production. His travels have taken him from the Arctic to the Antarctic and from Africa to Russia.
Randy is a director of two travel companies, International Wildlife Adventures and Caye Resorts. He currently lives on Vashon Island, Washington, in Puget Sound, with his wife, Susie (also a director of IWA and Caye Resorts), and they have two sons, Travis and Nathan.
